Elena & Oscar, intimate wedding in Barcelona

Just outside Barcelona, the Catalan coast is full of small towns where time moves more slowly – narrow streets, tiled floors, worn stone facades and churches that have seen generations come and go. For a destination wedding in Spain, they offer what the city sometimes can’t: stillness, texture and a light that changes the mood of a room by the hour.

Elena had never planned to become a bride. Marriage was not part of the life she imagined for herself. Oscar did not win her over with a grand gesture. He offered something quieter: to make her breakfast every morning – a small, everyday promise, repeated for as long as they would have each other. Eventually, Elena married him, in a small town by the sea near Barcelona.

As a destination wedding photographer, I bring my background in fashion, portraiture and art direction to every wedding I photograph. I look for light, form and the moments in between – and I give couples the space to stay exactly who they are. Elena & Oscar’s wedding is about choosing a shared life without surrendering the person you were before it began.
